During each of the seasons (except maybe Jan-March) there are fishing tournaments held by our marina. The larger boats either stay in the marina waters or in the drydock up in the marina area. Fripp Island Property Owners are discouraged from parking any boats on their property which are over 21' in length and which would be an eyesore to the neighborhood. Naturally, the oceanfront properties at either end of the island do have driveways which accommodate larger boats and the weekly seasonal rental guests frequently bring one down. That is allowed - but permanent parking of large boats in a driveway or on a lawn are not allowed.
